ICA PU Acrylic 2K is a lacquer system in the PU 2K acrylic family. It offers a satin / gloss finish, is positioned as pro, and has a thermal class of heavy duty. Supporting parameters in the database include UV resistance: no data, hardness: very high and chemical resistance: very high.
When working with PU Acrylic 2K, match the application method to the surface; the database lists spray. Before the topcoat, sand the primer sequentially (for example 400, potem 600) and remove dust with compressed air; this is standard for high gloss. Use a hardener from the manufacturer list and keep the specified weight/volume percentage; in this example pot life is about 5 h. Thin only within the TDS range (for example 5-40%) and according to application needs; excess thinner reduces build.
ICA PU Acrylic 2K should be treated as a finish where sheen, substrate compatibility and real use resistance all matter. Epoxy compatibility: directly compatible with epoxy. For worktops, tables and high-use parts, test on the same wood, resin and sanding sequence because final sheen, adhesion and resistance depend on the whole system.
