Documentation

A practical guide to the epoxy calculator: from photo input and scale setup to resin selection, thermal risk, export and client-ready project data.

Start

What the calculator does

NeuroResin estimates resin volume and A/B component weight from project dimensions or a photo. It also keeps the layer thickness, mold material, ambient temperature and pigment load in one workflow, so the result is easier to verify before you pour.

Workflow

Recommended project flow

  • Add a photo or use simple shapes when no photo is available.
  • Set the scale, mark the resin area and check the calculated area.
  • Choose a resin system and mold material, then review thermal risk.
  • Use the layer assistant, process timer and export tools before starting production.
AI tools

AI and defect tools

AI features help detect the project frame, suggest resin choices and estimate wood defects. Treat them as decision support: the final material choice should still follow the product TDS and your workshop conditions.

Output

Export and project handoff

The calculator can prepare a PDF-style project card with masses, assumptions and recommendations. Use it as a workshop note or as a clean summary for the client.

Scale and area

Use the scale tool before trusting photo-based volume.

Layer plan

Split thick pours according to the selected resin limit.

Process timer

Start the timer when mixing begins and follow the phase hints.
